Eye disease/disorder
Eye related diseases or disorders are also common among the victims of Agent Orange. It is reported that about 81% of people who were exposed to the Agent Orange have weaker eyesight after the exposure. Also, the exposure to the Agent Orange causes several eye diseases. One of the common eye diseases is a conjunctivitis, or a pink eye. A conjunctivitis usually results in an inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva, a transparent membrane. Another eye disease caused by the Agent Orange is an iritis, which also involves an inflammation in a person's iris. The exposure to the Agent Orange and dioxin can damage people's cornea too.
